The design for this northern Minnesota lake home marries traditional cabin aesthetics, found on the home's exterior, with our clients desired fresh transitional palette for the interior: Doug Fir beams, oil-rubbed bronze hardware and slate flooring are paired with clean ship lap siding, quartzite counters, and warm white trim. Custom cabinetry and yact-building principles inspired the design of playful, high-function storage such as the his/hers wardrobes (left and right of bed) and game drawers below the stairs.
Hear what our clients had to say after the remodel was complete:
"We are absolutely thrilled with our newly remodeled lake home! DiGiacomo Homes embraced the challenges of keeping within the original footprint, while dealing with additional complexities of relocating the staircase and incorporating a geothermal heating system. They created a warm welcoming aesthetic while using beautiful, sophisticated materials. We are experienced remodelers who have worked with other accomplished design professionals. Gigi and Rocky not only met, but exceeded our expectations of the service and professionalism a design/build firm should offer their clients. We will definitely be using DiGiacomo homes for future projects and can’t wait to work with them again." - Project Homeowner.
