Clean-Lined Tranquility

Central to this clean-lined master bath — featured on the 2008 Luxury Home Tour — are the German Duravit brand freestanding tub; wall-mounted Kohler filler; a generous walk-in shower; and a custom-built wash-basin decked out with Carrara marble countertops and a polished chrome frame.

Above the sinks, built-in mirrors open to reveal utilitarian shelving and outlets. Walls are painted silver sage from Restoration Hardware. The adjoining master bedroom is centered on west-facing windows and characterized by rich ebony-stained maple floors. Tranquility awaits these homeowners every day in their upscale, hotel-style master suite.
