Asian Simplicity

This once cramped master bedroom was opened to an adjacent unused bedroom creating a spacious master suite that features a soaking tub, his/hers sinks, walk-in shower, and abundant storage.

The architecture and interior design were inspired by our clients' love for the Far East as you'll see in the simple clean lines, natural finishes, rectangular floor tile, black trim and headboard papered in an Asian woodland motif.

One of our favorite design elements is the custom floating cabinet (made from vertical grain white oak) in the master hall. The cabinet adds function to an otherwise traditional Japanese "tokonoma" niche (intended to display scrolls and other objects). We love the simplicity of the space and the story it tells.
