Neat Freak

Our "drop zone" is a client favorite. In lieu of the traditional mudroom we've designed an efficient space to "drop everything" when parents and kids arrive home laden with iPads, backpacks, , sports gear, and mail.

Here you'll find tall coat lockers, shoe cubbies and a comfortable bench as well as a mini home office — complete with custom file drawers, mail slots, lots of shelving and a magnetic chalkboard for school notes, event reminders, and favorite artwork. A charging drawer awaits the ubiquitous iPhones, iPads, and iPods, thus hiding the unsightly cords while instilling responsible habits (no lost phones, no dead batteries!).

The architectural "screen", dividing the drop zone from the remainder of the main floor, allows light to penetrate this busy space while disguising any potential mess. For neat freaks, it's love at first site.
