Like most young, dual-career, professionals, our clients lead busy lives. The arrival home, laden with laptops, phones and mail is a critical moment of the day to debrief and settle back into home life. The updated mudroom or "drop zone," as we call it, includes a "pocket" desk with built-in electronics recharging station as well as a series of seasonal lockers for backpacks, jackets, shoes and boots. A south-facing window introduces natural light and makes this space bright and inviting. A clean, sophisticated palette honors our client's aesthetic preferences and complements existing finishes in the home.
