We turned the traditional 1940s Minneapolis bungalow design on its head and put this 108-square-foot charming kitchen design on full display by opening up the adjoining dining room wall, introducing more natural light, and wrapping the space with high-function custom cabinets. This compact kitchen is infused with charm and feminine touches: crackled "bombay" blue subway tile, reeded glass doors, a floral Roman shade, and a coordinating grasscloth paper. Rather than being hidden away, this delightful new space is functional, quaint, and proudly on display.
